Raindear came back in June 2022 with the single ‘Howl’ after her last album ‘Skies to My Name‘, which she released 3 years ago. And now here with live session video for her latest single Rush!
Rebecca Bergcrantz, Raindear, is a Swedish artist who grew up with music, inspired by her parents who are both reputable musicians from the jazz and classical world. Absorbing all she could from them, Raindear sang and wrote songs from a very young age, and eventually went on to write and self-produce her debut album ‘Embers‘ in 2016 in her hometown of Malmö in Sweden. The album receieved excellent reviews from tastemakers and blogs worldwide. Raindear has also played international shows including Club NME at KOKO and the infamous VICE House Party in London.
Raindear has been seen in massive publications such as Billboard, The FADER, Clash Magazine, EARMILK and so on. She has a unique style mixing boho, rave and retro synths and has been a rising star on the indie electronic scene since early days. Featured on multiple Spotify New Music Friday playlists across the globe as well as playlists like Oyster, Believe the Hype and Electrending, Raindear hit #27 on Top50 Viral in the US and Top100 on Apple Music with the songs ‘Diamonds in my Chest‘ and ’Sky‘ from the praised album ‘Skies to My Name’ (2019).
