Moyka shares impressive electro-pop banger, “Violet”.
Hailing from the forests of Norway’s Hallingdal Valley, Monika Engeseth aka Moyka made a grand entrance on the Scandinavian pop scene with her debut EP, Circles, in 2019. The 23-years-old singer-songwriter is now ready to unveil the follow-up project, Spaces. After the singles “Spaces” and “Backwards”, she has now unveiled a new electro-pop track: “Violet”. Violet is a mix of blue and red, of wisdom and anger. A combination that totally reflects the contrasted feelings of this anthemic bop.
The relentless banger is like a huge wave, surging into your ears. Capturing a feeling of acceptance after the loss of a big love, the empowering song is what we call a banger. “It’s just emotion,” Moyka reflects. “And it’s okay to still have good feelings about someone – good energy and emotion.”
