Oslo-based record label Toothfairy, which brings together musicians such as Coucheron, Ponette, and Pasha, heralds a new talent: Langva. Influenced by musicians such as Tame Impala, Toro y Moi, Jakob Ogawa, and HOMESHAKE, he fuses tempting melodies with modern rhythms and melancholy lyrics. It finally achieves an intersection between synth-pop, R&B, and indie-pop. The musician, who received a lot of attention both in Norway and in the international media with his previous songs, is sailing into completely different waters with his new single.
Langva is announcing his new single “All I Want From You” on Tootfairy and France-based Kitsuné Musique. The first forerunner of his EP to be released in the spring of 2022, this single is reminiscent of French disco sounds with funky bass tones and analog synths. Langva initially imagined the piece he wrote in 2019 as a more melancholic and slow piece but thought it might be boring. For this reason, he wanted to explain the concept of separation, with more disco tunes. He wished this would be a more enjoyable listening experience for the listener. It has been quite successful in our opinion.
