ViVii tease sophomore album with uplifting and dreamy new song “One Day”.
As they proved it with their 2019 self-titled debut album, Swedish trio ViVii (singers and multi-instrumentalists Emil and Caroline Jonsson + multi-instrumentalist and studio wizard Anders Eckeborn) have a secret recipe to craft dreamy and gorgeous choruses. And they did not lose anything from it… On their new track, “One Day”, they deliver a chorus that sounds like a glittering meteor shower.
“On a rooftop in Brooklyn 2 years ago we had a farewell party to some good friends of ours that had joined us on tour. The 3 of us ended up alone, like we do most of the time… it started to rain and we started to chant a melody that has stuck with us since. This is the result of the ViVii chant that we always use right before we go on stage,” they detailed about the track.
Following up “Summer Of 99”, “Rendezvous” and most recently “Fool Alone”, “One Day” is also taken from their brand new album, to be released this Spring.
