Swedish electronic duo Walca follow debut album Synapses with hypnotic single “Yibi”.
Formed back in 2017, Walca is the Swedish electronic duo comprising sound designers Sebastian Furrer and Federico Pinna. Drawing inspiration from forward-thinking artists such as Bon Inver, Nils Frahm and Thom Yorke, they released earlier this year their mainly instrumental debut album Synapses, which was crafted over the last three years. Imagine the ethereal yet visceral soundscapes of Jon Hopkins colliding with Sigur Rós’s icy, mystical atmospheres. Following up from the 7-track project, here’s “Yibi,” another hypnotic and trippy track that will bring you into another state of mind.
