NEW: Vivii – “Whistle”

Swedish dream-pop trio Vivii drop surprise ear-worm “Whistle”.

Honestly, do we still need to introduce Vivii? The Stockholm trio (Emil Jonsson, Caroline Jonsson, Anders Eckeborn) was on everyone’s lips last year with the release of their amazing self-titled debut album (We still listen to “Savant” and “And Tragic” very often). And there’s a piece of good news: they have announced on their socials that a second record is already on the way.

In the meantime, they have dropped a new track, “Whistle’, which sounds very nostalgic, recalling Nancy Sinatra’s music to mind. And it’s not a coincidence as it was written during a trip through the Southwestern United States.

“Whistle was written when our car broke down in the Nevada desert on the way to Las Vegas. The car shop guy said “write a song or something”. And so we did.”

ViVii drops a surprise track for our ears.

Swedish dream-pop trio ViVii released their beautiful debut album ‘ViVii’ last year through Dumont Dumont (RY X, Charlie Cunningham, Josin, Sean Christopher).

ViVii about the song: “Whistle was written when our car broke down in the Nevada dessert on the way to Las Vegas. The car shop guy said “write a song or something”. And so we did.”
