Norwegian newcomer Ima Sobé debuts the video of her new pop banger “Mine”.
Ima Sobé is not what we can call a brand new artist. Indeed, the Norwegian singer-songwriter has already cut her teeth on the Scandinavian scene, writing bops for the likes of Tungevaag, Sofia Reyes and the ItaloBrothers. This brilliant pop expertise can be heard on her introspective yet intoxicating new song, “Mine,” which depicts a toxic relationship hook after hook.
“As a songwriter, you get a lot of music sent your way,” she explains. “I got a beat from UK producer Rebbel that immediately resonated with me, and the word “Mine” came to mind. The last few months, I’ve worked on music that really captures who I am, and moving forward, I want to go all-in as an artist. I feel like I have nothing to lose anymore and want to focus on myself this time. I’m currently working on my first EP, and “Mine” will be the first song from the EP.“
