After a 5-year detour via the US, Siv Jakobsen came back to Oslo to record her self-released EP, The Lingering, and her debut album, The Nordic Mellow. The indie-folk singer-songwriter is now readying the release of her sophomore project, A Temporary Soothing, due out April 24 on U OK?. After a very fragile and pristine lead single, “Fear The Fear”, she has now returned with the luminous “Island”, which sounds softly uplifting and comforting.
