Walca have finally released their debut album Synapses, which features the captivating and uplifting single “Attic”.
Walca is a Swedish electronic duo, comprising Sebastian Furrer and Federico Pinna, who have just unveiled their debut album. Driven by ambient layers, synthetic arpeggios and icy, distant vocal chops, Synapses recalls the breathtaking landscapes of Scandinavia. If you close your eyes, you can easily visualize yourself running in the snow. Taken from the 7-track project, “Attic” perfectly encapsulates this concept of freedom and escapism. Of course, with this kind of instrumental music, interpretation is even more subjective. But the track brims with such a spirit of freedom that it’s almost impossible not to feel captivated and liberated.
