New: Carl Louis – Silent Soldier

Norwegian musician-producer Carl Louis, whose work we follow with pleasure and listen with pleasure, has released his long-awaited new album ‘Silent Soldier’. One of the leading figures of the Nordic electronic scene, Carl Louis makes a quick introduction to his new album from the very beginning.

Starting with the opening song The Enemy, Louis warns the audience that one will listen to a very lively album. Indeed, everything from the second song, Nightride, accelerates. The harmony between the tracks and the smooth transition between them also gives the impression of listening to a soundtrack. The eight-track album makes you feel as if you’re experiencing the climax point from the second track. Carl Louis also captures that nostalgic sound universe he wants to achieve with the Melotron synthesizer. While listening to the album, we inevitably teleport to the 1980s.

Indie pop’s naïve and lightweight, which includes a bit of the album guitar, drums and vocals by Carl Louis’ vocals more natural and vivid. Carl’s new album ‘Silent Soldier’ reminds also bands like Massive Attack, Jungle, Moby and Swedish band The Radio Dept.
