New: Simen Mitlid – “After a While” + “Reality Tsars”

Norwegian indie folk singer-songwriter Simen Mitlid has just released his sophomore album Neutral.

Coming from the lush woods of Os in the West of Norway, singer-songwriter Simen Mitlid channels the pristine folk and beautiful harmonies of Sufjan Stevens and Fleet Foxes. Following up on his 2017’s debut record Everything is the Same, he has just shared his self-produced sophomore album Neutral.

Taken from the 10-track record, here are two songs we fell in love with. “After a While” is an aerial and melancholic ballad about trying to kill time. “Reality Tsars” is more uptempo and uplifting as it is about trying to become the main character in someone else’s life. In any case, the two tracks are both charming and beautiful. Listen below.
