Swedish singer-songwriter Elina announces sophomore EP with acoustic ballad “Free”.
After having cut her teeth writing for major pop stars such as Zara Larsson, Astrid S, and Maroon 5 / SZA, Swedish artist Elina decided to start a solo career last year.
The artist, who grew up in a small village in southern Sweden, has now announced her sophomore collection of songs with a brand new single. : “Free”. It’s a bare acoustic ballad with folk influences, in which she explores human emotions and relationships. In her own words:
It’s important for me to try and shine more of a light on the value of self-esteem, especially with the pressures we all face in today’s society. I want to continue exploring that down the road with my next EP and hopefully reach a point where I can make a real difference using the platform I’m lucky to have.
