New: Lovisa Linde – “Better”

Sweden’s singer-songwriter Lovisa Linde unveils “Better,” the striking first single off her sophomore EP.

At 23 only, Lovisa Linde has already gathered the attention of Sweden’s indie scene thanks to her debut EP “Colder”, published back in 2017. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Paramore (that she covered several times on her Youtube channel), Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers, the up and coming singer-songwriter is now readying the release of her sophomore EP.

The first single of this new project, “Better,” is already available. Combining introspective, genuine songwriting and electric guitars, the indie rock ballad relies on incredible changes of mood and pace; like a metaphor of the highs and lows that can follow a breakup. “Tell Me It Gets Better,” she sings in a chorus that sounds both desperate and hopeful. We are now very curious to hear more from this Kristianstad-based artist. In the meantime, listen and cry to “Better” below.
