Frum celebrates the “Ocean” in her new electro-pop banger.
Frum is the moniker of Jenný Augustudóttir, an electro-pop artist born and raised in the secluded Faroe Islands. After a silence of almost two years, she’s now back with a new track which draws inspiration from the ocean surrounding this group of islands located somewhere between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean.
Breezy and catchy, “Ocean” is certainly a dance floor filler, but it can also be read from another perspective. A dialogue between the artist and her grandmother, the track focuses on their special relationship, as Jenný sings: “Putting your lipstick on and walking down the stairs like they were ”
The track also comes with a beautiful aqueous video, which was directed by Barbara Lervig.
