Colin John, 18, one of Norway’s youngest talents, successfully reflects his growth stories in an honest, attractive and straightforward way. With his debut album ‘Mellompartiet‘, Colin John talks about his childhood stories and new experiences in pieces written both in Norwegian and English, as well as criticizing adults and the overwhelming world. As soon as his first album was released in 2017, he was known as young Bob Dylan of Norway, a musician who got full points by many music critics.
With his new inspiration, he returned to the musical universe with more mature tones and was influenced by the 80’s synth pop and low-fi nostalgia. Colin’s new single “Flying Past The Moon” is in perfect harmony with the instrumentality of The Beatles and David Bowie. The musician who prepares the music video with Amund Teien-Lund travels to the unknown in the space.
