We want to talk a bit about Softengine, one of the most attention getting band in Finland, as their latest album We Created the World has made its mark.
The band made its global debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014, and has gained fans especially all around Europe. As a matter of fact, their fanbase in Turkey has been growing lately.
In order to improve their music as best as possible, the whole band share a flat in Helsinki. Their one of the latest releases; Free Rider is one of the best examples of the positive effect of living together on their music. But the song has another meaning for the band besides this. In the evening of the day they recorded the demo of Free Rider, they received the news that Prince died, so his famous quote “party like it’s 1999” is mentioned in the song’s lyrics.
