A Forest Pavilion in Sweden Tests Law

Jägnefält Milton Studio in Stockholm designed a leaf-shaped pavilion to test a law in Sweden that allows structures under a certain size to be built without permission.

Structures of max. 25 square meters in length and 4 meters in height can be built wherever in Sweden. Architects of the studio worked with an engineering company, Arup, from Berlin.

An oval platform raises the base of the pavilion above the ground and the timber needed for construction will be provided during the site clearance.
