King of Norway: Reconciliation of Father and Daughter

Semi-biographical short is about father and daughter love at its pure honesty. Based on the true story of the director Sylvia Sæther whose father had a terrible accident which caused a cognitive impairment and the loss of his short term memory afterwards, the movie is appreciating the love in grief and embracing the past often spent with confrontation in a quite personal way. The daughter is played by well-known feminist writer, director and actress Marianna Palka whose acting gives the feeling of a documentary in its realistic style.

Sæther and her team have been working on the feature-length version of the film in Norway where the director’s family resides.
